Icann apparently hopes to avoid a domain name bubble by allowing use of any name as a domain. I would consider avifrisch.law if it were available, but I doubt that it will catch on that quickly. Maybe the internet authorities should focus on the looming IP Address shortage, though?
UPDATE 1:10PM: A number of people have asked if I am aware of IPv6, and I am of course familiar with it. My point was that more focus is needed on implementing IPv6 more broadly.
